<-- Here is one of the Stakes I used to ensure that the cage and the calf carcass inside won't be disturbed by larger animals and that it won't get moved until the experiment is done!

I am very excited to finally begin this lab, as I have been planning it with my science teacher for the past two or three months! With the help of my roommate, I was able to lug the dog cage (fig. 3) into the woods behind my dorm, and later stake everything down yesterday (fig. 2). I hope to move the calf and time-lapse cameras out to the cage on Monday, the 31st, as it is going to be raining for the duration of this weekend.
